Description of preparation:

As you know, wontons are traditional Chinese dumplings that can be fried, boiled in water or steamed. We will make fried wontons in Mexican style – we will fry them in oil and fill them with some non-standard products. It turns out to be very tasty, and if you add some spices of Mexican spices (izi or chili), then also very spicy. Try it!

We mix flour, eggs, water and salt, mix dough, wrap it in a ball, wrap it in a film and leave it for half an hour.

Fry onions in butter, add pepper and salt into the pan in small cubes after 5 minutes. Fry for another four to five minutes, then add the shredded garlic. We’re gonna fry a little more, and we’re gonna take it off the fire.

We mix roasted vegetables with corn and beans.

Add to the filling finely sliced chicken, spices and grated cheese. If desired, it can be sprayed slightly with lemon juice.

Roll out the dough and cut it into squares of approximately 8-10 cm. In the center of each square, lay out a little stuffing, then protect the edges, forming triangular quills.

In a deep frying pan we heat up the oil, throw the wontons in it and fry on high heat for 2-3 minutes on each side.

It’s done! It’s better to serve it hot, though it’s possible to serve it cold.
